J. Bruner’s Red Room Lounge went pink for the 1st annual Totes for Ta-Tas event that benefitted the Susan G Komen Foundation. There was a $25 admission at the door that included a drink ticket, food and a door prize entry.
Many locals joined together at Bootleggers in support of Ethan Bax on October 12. Ethan, a 5th grader at School of the Osage, has been diagnosed with a rare disease called Linear Sclerderma.
The 15th Annual YMCA Golf Tournament was held on October 10. They had 34 teams and made approximately $40,000.
Surdyke Yahama recently hosted the Riverbottom Fall Classic at CryBaby Campground. The Classic was a two-day weekend event, with final races on Sunday October 17.
In Step with the Future: Dancing at the Lake was the theme for the 2010 Lake Area Chamber of Commerce Annual Celebration. Guests enjoyed the monthly social, dinner and dancing entertainment throughout the night.
